Website migration: your questions answered
Answers to what people ask us before they switch.
Is website migration really free?
Yes. We charge no migration fees. Our engineers handle your website, email and domains.
Will my site go down during the migration?
No. Your site stays live on your old host while we copy it. We switch over once everything is checked, with no interruption for your visitors.
Will I lose any email during the transfer?
No. Your existing messages are copied, and the switch is planned so new email lands in the right place.
Should I cancel my old hosting first?
No. Keep it active until the migration is complete. You can cancel it once your site is live at Upkyo.
What information do I need to provide?
Your login details for your old host and, for a domain, its transfer code. Our engineers will help if you are not sure where to find them.
